Jan 9, 2022 – Happy 6th Birthday Molly! Wow!!!! Molly is 6. We can’t believe how fast the time goes!!! Molly is an incredible 6 year old and has started so many new things this year. Molly goes to school with gusto! She was so excited to start in September. She happily goes to Kindergarten and is an enthusiastic participant. Her teachers says that she is involved in class, works hard and is happy. When we see her on the playground, she is happily playing with friends. Molly started pre-competitive gymnastics and Darlene the Bean said, “Wow, she is just such a hard little worker!!!!!!” She can climb the rope all the way to the ceiling. She works so hard and loves going to gymnastics. She is very independent – cruising out of the van on her own and hops into the gym to find her group. Then she waits alongside Josie’s group until Josie finishes. Molly still loves to sing. She rides her bike and belts out a tune, she skis down the hill on a harness with Frozen tunes coming out at full volume. She loves to climb onto Stornas or a table and assume the stage as she sings for the world. She’s a great sleeper if she doesn’t wake up “feeling scared” to which she is receiving a little bit of a screen time incentive to help keep her in her bed instead of waking Mom and Dad up to room with them. She and Josie still share a room. Molly loves her new make-up kit, and colouring, and all the whimsical treasures she has. Molly has riding her bike down to science and has been doing that for 2 summers. She’s gaining a bit of confidence skiing and is slowly working her way to independence there. She is becoming an AWESOME swimmer. She can do her Skimkids floats and swims like a champ. She’s learning to do a nice breaststroke with her arms (mermaid swim) and can do about 75% of the way across the Remington Training Pool. She’s doing so awesome and loves to swim. Molly is very social and loves to be a part of groups around her. She happily goes to zoom primary or real life primary if it’s in session. She LOVES going to dayhome and being with Annabelle and the kids. She is so happy to be included in the plays and fun that happens around her. She is a great big sister to Lottie (most of the time) and a fun playmate (most of the time) for Josie and Jack. She’s still learning the fine line between playing and antagonism with the older kids. It’s hard being #3 sometimes. Molly vasicllates wildly between being SUPER independent and loving the attention that comes from Mom and Dad helping her do certain tasks. When properly motivated, she can do SO much on her own. When wanting to have some more TLC, she enjoys Mom and Dad’s help. Molly loves to play and be a part of the action. She wants to be involved with whatever the group is doing and is devastated when she can’t be. And if she is devastated, you will very shrill-ly be notified. She loves taking care of Lottie (as long as Lottie doesn’t take her toy). She is fun, enthusiastic, soooo whimsical, and a ton of fun! We love Molly our Molly Bolly and her fun whimsy!!!!
