Josie’s 10th Birthday •We can’t believe that Josie is now in the double digits!! Happy birthday Josie!! We just love this girl and are so happy that she is in our family! •Josie is an amazing grade 4 student. She works hard in Mme Sophie’s class. She has good friends in her class and is always keen to go to school and do her best on all her assignments and tasks. Her favourite subject these days is math. •She is becoming an avid reader. She loves when Mom and Dad read a chapter from her book each night and then stays up another hour or so reading. Her new love, Sweet Valley Twins, is being highly rewarded by Mom and the aunties! •Josie continues with her piano lessons with Shauna Hunter. She enjoys playing a little Simple Piano too, and can often be found making videos of her singing and playing. She still requires a bit of incentive to get her practicing done, but the days of Mom and Josie’s piano drama are behind us! •Josie started with Gymtastics Troopers group this year. She LOVES it and has been doing so well. She goes 2x a week for 3 hours each time. She is so responsible about getting ready and enthusiastically heads off each time. She has learned so many skills and even competed in her first meet! She will often take the lead in “stunt school” in the basement teaching her siblings skills and helping to spot them. •Josie is in swim club again after our Covid hiatus. She is getting stronger and stronger every time we go swimming. She goes to each lesson easily and happily and works hard each time. Her and Jack are in the same swim class this time! 2x a week for an hour! •Skiing is still a part of our winter routine and Josie is getting better and better. In fact, M&D are only vaguely aware of her skill level (good enough to not crash into anyone), because as soon as we get to Winsport, Josie and Jack jet off by themselves and are gone! They just join up with M&D,M,L for the chair lift! Josie was LOVING the jumps they had set up at Winsport and enjoyed trying them all. •Josie loves going to Primary Activities and enjoys the time she gets to spend with the girls there. She hates missing them! •Josie continues to be a wonderful big sister. She and Jack are great buddies, she is a great example to Molly and takes good care of Lottie. She is starting to take on more responsibilities in taking care of herself. This year, she was able to be at home by herself for an hour or so while Mom or Dad stepped out for a little bit. •We love love love our Josie. She is so easy going, (unless she has been disappointed, they you’re sure gonna hear about it!) and willing to help. We love her!
